Orders placed on Friday

Pick up same day at 4.30 or delivery by Express post on Monday

Why does it cost more?     It's more expensive because we have to re-schedule other orders so that we can print your same-day-prints without letting any of our other customers down.   This means extra work and longer hours for our print staff.

What kind of artwork / image is best for same day printing?

  • A high resolution digitial photograph
  • A vector format graphics file such as .CDR or .EPS
  • The best type of non-vector image file is either .PSD or .PNG with a transparent background.  We can also use high quality bitmap images of at least 200 d.p.i in JPEG, BMP, TIFF, formats.

What kind of artwork or image is NOT good for printing?

  • Anything that is hand drawn or doesn't look good after you have scanned it.   We can print it but it just won't look so good.
  • A photograph of a printed garment
  • A low quality image and especially if you want it printed at a bigger size.

Quick check for printability?

  • Open the image that you want to have printed in any image viewing program like Microsoft Paint (which is standard on all windows computers)
  • Now zoom in until the image is displayed at the size you would like to have it printed.

How does your image look?

Does it have smooth & even colour or is it a bit uneven?

Are the edges crisp and clean or are they a bit fuzzy (pixelated).

If you are unsure just upload your design and ask us.  We'll check it for you and let you know.

Faded edges like those around the word BAD are caused by a technique called Anti aliasing.    This will not a problem if the image is going to be printed onto a white shirt - but if it is to be printed onto a black or coloured shirt it will cause a fine white or grey line to be printed around the edges of the image.

Does the image have a white background?    Most images have a white background, which you don't normally see against a white page, a computer screen or a white T shirt.  If it is to be printed onto a coloured garment, then the white background will also be printed. Of course if you want us to,   we can print that too, but it might not look so good with a big white rectangle around it.

How can you tell if your image has a white background?       Open the image in Microsoft paint which has a light blue background. You will then be able to see any white areas in your image.
